And I thought I was going to have to wait until somebody got back from the expo to upload a video of them not even playing grid properly. Thanks a bunch Loore, can't wait for this! Just to make it clear there will be some game play we haven't seen before right?
? Possibly hitting another car off the edge?

Will we finally find out if touring car racing still in?

My guess is no.
Think the info will be more general without going deep in something specific.
And mostly go about the true feeling model.
The things that can be done there are most likely the same as some already played on codies headquarters.
I don't think we gonna get much news about the game that we don't know already.
I hope codies proof me wrong though

Live stream over. Thank for letting us see this live. ![]()
Hmmm, 12 cars definitely online, 16 or maybe even more if Codies can get it stable.
Codies has step up the damage model again!! Going have to find a track layout that will work for Cops and Robbers. A shame there no derby racing!! Damage can be set to visual only or set to effect handling of car.
Codies doing something new, there a mode were the track layout will change on the fly each lap. ![]()
Some new videos in the live stream, one was of a circuit track from downunder, oops make that Austria.
Clive says Codies not ready to talk more about the cars in GRID 2 yet, but there will be a wide variety. I'm thinking with a wide variety of cars, there should be a car that will become the new Lacetti in GRID 2.
This stream should show up on youtube as a recording, will post a link when I see it or maybe someone will see it before me or maybe Codies will put a link here in this thread when it available.
Edit: Here link to recording of live session, click ahead to the 6:35 time mark. That when Codies get ready to talk:

Session was awful.
Handling is terrible! Each corner is driven through with something like autodrift... OMG, what a facepalm... Is it GRID or Split/Second?
Then, graphics look not so astonishing to cut cockpit for.
Damage system doesn't differ greatly from first GRID.
I really can't understand why GRID2 is better, than GRID1. Let's compare:
GRID 1:
+cockpit
+derby
+cool graphics
+cool handling
+cool damage
GRID2:
- no cockpit
- no derby
- weird arcadish handling
- the same damage system
+ a little better graphics.
Are you kiddin?
Just been chatting to a mate who's pc sim head / iracing all the way. He said Grid2 was the game of the show for him, felt just right on g27. Can't be a bad thing.
