i read this on eurogame.net: "In-car view is out, after Codemasters' research discovered that 95 per cent of players use chase or bonnet cameras to play."

plz someone tell me is not true... inside cam view was one of the best thing and experience of grid..

I hope too, in-car view was one of the best features of grid, with all relative movements inside/outside etc...

if is true they cut off at least the a good 30% of the old game experience...

I understand why DiRT Showdown didn't have an in-car view.. but for a proper racing game.

Anyway this hasn't been confirmed by Codemasters yet, so hopefully it won't be true.

if the cockpit view is missing for me this game start with the wrong foot...
I care so much, and all the pro-gridders i know use with wheel mostly this view !!

It's out, NO cockpit view in GRID 2, because according to Codemasters 95% of the players don't use it and they think they can use the time and resources better on other features of the game.

mmmm something tell me this is another game with some percent of discount.... great hype, but this "news" is very very BAD for a good racing game !!

...who care about detailed interiors of cars ?? lol thats crazy !! is very very important !! what a racing game is ?? ... another NFS for kids... impossible to make this on  the same side of forza4, gt5 with cockpit view missing !!

As a long term fan, I really don't see the logic behind this.

I was so excited for this game, every aspect looks literally brilliant. But then I got halfway through that review...

I only use cockpit view, and really struggle to use anything else but it. There is nothing else like it that gives me the same sense of realism. I don't see it as driving if you're not actually in the car. What is the point of racing if you are not in the car, and in control? This is so disapointing for what seemed like the perfect game. I will still get it no doubt, but it will NEVER be the same without including that view. You wouldnt make a game with only cockpit view and refuse to let people use the outside views, so why do it the other way around?

Please codemasters, I don't care if it delays the game by half a year, I want cockpit view!
