I thought about this and a lot of other crap developers have done for other games, their decisions to "stop piracy", make a games more accessible and other bs.

I've already started to boycott all the games that force me to use Steam, so why not continue boycott games that are "suited for everyone" except for me?

I know business is all about money, yada yada, but it used to be about so much more. I miss that, and probably will never see that again. Time will come, when I'll buy only CDPR games.

If they do not care what I want, I won't care what they want (money).

I will not buy GRID 2 unless they include cockpit view.

I know this sounds like a rant from an whiny kid, and you're right. I whine and **bleep** about everything I don't like, that is my right. And I don't want to finance corporation, that does not give a **bleep** what I want from the game (fortunately what I want usually is similar to what a lot of other people want), that does not respect me as a costumer. I'm just a dollar sign for them. And recent events (not just about GRID 2) made me cross the line. I really can't take it any more.

Yeah, I dont know where they have got this '5%' figure from but by the looks of things, the game is being massively overshadowed by this major fact. I feel as if Codemasters have stuck two fingers up to us (the ones with the racing wheels and this other '5%') with them doing this...I mean like he said in the interview, its a lot of money and resources to spend doing something like this, well if you cant afford to make the game...Dont! To most people I feel its a vital element of the game, I never used any other view but cockpit... I will defo think twise before picking up this game...maybe during the steam sales because I would like to support the company and give them a bit extra so they can afford to put this in the next game!

Cockpit view is the only way I can properly play and you decide to leave it out because of some bull**bleep** statistics?

If Codemasters where to come out and say they would add this as DLC later on, I would buy it...

They've already taken out 2 things many players love. I don't know where they pulled the 5% figure from but they clearly didn't ask every single person who played GRID if they used the view. As you can see on the comments here and on youtube there were a lot of people who used it. I'll need to see more before truly judging it, but I've been waiting years for this game and I can't believe i'm saying that their going in the wrong direction already. :/

Dont get me wrong, If I had to pay for it, it would be a no go. I wont be paying for something which should be including in a racing game.

Really bad decision by Codemasters, in car view is all i use in racing games so to not have it is very annoying.
