I am blown away by the crap decisions being made at codemasters or whoever is responsible for ruining good racing games. There was little wrong with the formula for DIRT and GRID. Other developers copied your great formula. So why the hell do we get crap arcade stuff we would expect from 80% of the market from you guys. I've been a loyal fan from CMR, Jarrett & Labonte stockcar/touring game, TOCA and so on. I couldn't believe the way DIRT was going (#2), and then the stupid decision of SHOWDOWN. Now you PULL COCKPIT view from GRID 2?!!? Someone really know how to **bleep** off and lose fans over there. I really hope that is not codemasters long term goal. Then again I'm unsure who is making these stupid decisions or if you're only looking at polls taken by 5 year old MONSTER/ROCKSTAR gen kids that have never driven a car on a circuit or rally stage.
You are taking a good thing and screwing it up in a big way. Stick with your true fans, the type of games that grew the company. I didn't know who the hell codemasters was but CMR on pc helped build your image in my eyes and I supported through a lot of games. Pretty much until they became stupid and way too unrealistic. You had a good balance of everything for everyone. Don't cater to BS kids that will buy this for a week, get their stupid fix and call it garbage n trade it. There's not much hope for good racing games now that Codemasters has taken DIRT and crap on it. NOW you crap on grid after stringing us along for years. What's next? Crap on F1 game? Just like the BS Microsoft is pulling with horizon, that **bleep** should be left to EA and need for speed.
I apologize for the language but I just can't believe the people at codemasters have taken a good thing and thrown it into the ground. Is there no more hope?
Been a racing fan for years, shoestring budget, rallycross and track events for the past 10years. Sometimes my only satisfaction of racing was FORZA, GRID, BAJA, DIRT due to budget and family. But Codemasters was important, I used to buy the games without a second thought. Now I don't even have to think once about Showdown. Looks like the same is to be said of GRID 2...

agree Fritosport....CM are going the way Bioware has and ignoring its loyal fanbase...Mass Effect is dead to the true fan of the series..I fear GRID 2 / Dirt series will go the same way if they carry on.

Guys, as the Community Manager for GRID 2 I can tell you know that you're not ignored. What you are saying, your thoughts, feedback and suggestions are brought up on a daily basis.

It may not be a totally bad decision. Using stats from vgchartz, 1/20 of the total number of GRID copies sold is around 90,000 units, and it could just happen that a majority of those players use these forums. There is a much wider base of people who play this game than those you see round here.
