[PC] Force feedback overriding driving input (Logitech G27)

Hi

I am having massive issues with force feedback taking over the steering wheel for no reason
.

To give examples, on the young driver test going down the back straight the wheel will suddenly twitch left and right (only slightly) enough to cause the car to spin if i am not gripping it hard enough to stop the input getting to the game.

Second, again in the young driver test, going in to the long right hand 3rd corner, the force feedback will put 90 degrees of right lock on and i have to try and hold it against the pull to stop it over steering off the track.

It does something similar going into the 3rd sector as well (after the second straight and the left / right / left corner), the next left it trys to pull you round that as well.

Basically it is trying to drive me off the track and i am having to fight the steering wheel against the corner, not into it (if that makes sense)

Is anyone else having this?

Do Codemaster know of the issue yet?

go in to advanced wheel settings in the controls menu while out on track and change the steering deadzone to anywhere between 1 and 4% :smileyhappy: should do the trick

Re: [PC] Force feedback overriding driving input (Logitech G27)

ill give that a try, but why would increasing the deadzone stop the feedback from snatching the wheel out of your hand?

Its like the game is telling it to resistance a movement that isnt there.

Just tried the Austin track and the chicane (turns 3 onwards) is almost impossible. its just constantly trying to steer the wrong way.

I had similar problems. Someone advised to acitvate V-Sync in the graphics settings. I cannot imagine what one has to do with the other but it was the solutions to the problem.
