Hi:
I was wondering if anyone could help me configure my Logitech DFGT wheel for PS3. I just got the game last week so I'm very new to Formula 1 & I have the game set to Easy. I've been playing with the standard Dualshock 3 controller. I tried using the default Logitech settings & I'm having an awful time controlling my car in the final part of the Young Driver's Test. Could someone suggest how they've configured their wheel (ie. deadzones, etc.)? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...![]()

Is this intended or is it a bug ???
It is really different from F1 2011 game!

In logitech profiler, tick use special steering wheel settings
set degrees of rotation to 270
Tick use special game settings and allow game to adjust settings.
In game, use
2% steering deadzone
30% steering linearity (adjust this to your won preferences)
2%braking deadzone
the rest on zero
Brake a bit earlier into the turns and concentrate on hitting the apex, you will soon eliminate the understeer and start to go faster through each turn ![]()
EDIT sorry my settings are for pc, but I hope they will work for you on ps3 also ![]()

One last question: do I find the Logitech Profiler section in the game options? Thanks again for your help.
Hopefully I can actually start enjoying the game instead of finding it an exercise in complete frustration...![]()

No I'm sorry gasbag, it's a separate bit of software to configure the wheel outside of the game. Does the ps3 have anything like that, for changing the rotation of the wheel? 270 is best for this game I have found, because it matches the turn of the in game wheel.

PS3 does not have the Logitech profile software. You can only change wheel setting available in-game.

Yeah I kind of figured that when I didn't see anything refering to it after setting up the wheel last night. Thanks anyway...![]()

Given up trying to use the DFGT on the ps3. Game only registers small scale inputs, past a certain angle the game does not register your inputs and you have no control of car.

Works well enough with DiRT 3. I've left everything on default settings & have very few accidents. Guess it's trial & many errors with this game.
Thanks for trying anyway...![]()
