Don't think F1 09 will be out for next gen.

I have never played F1 2009. I was wondering the same as you actually.

As I don't have another VG and playing on PC is not an option, I still play it on my Wii.

Still have it. There'll be no update like there wasn't an update for F1 2011 as Heidfeld was thrown out and Senna came in...

It seems we are the few ones that still play this game.

I still play F1-2009 on the Wii and quite frankly, while owning F1-2010, F1-2011 and F1-2012 for the PC, F1-2010 for rhe PS3 (ugh), I  find the F1-2009 for the Wii the least problematic, the most enjoyable and most fun of them all. Using  Logitech Force Wii wheel with it. Too bad Code(bug)Masters doesnt continually update it.

It's a pretty decent F1 game actually but it's a shame it was too arcadey. If wheels flew off and there was actually damage when you hit the wall if would have been a much better game.

F1 2009 is awesome on the Wii.

No glaring bugs I've ever found, full seasons, "fun" car physics, fair penalties given your settings, and the Challenge mode is imaginative in its scenarios and a lot of fun to compete in.  Top that with fast, easy menus and quasi-realistic car changes you can make in the pits, it is less diappointing that F1 2012 on PS3 with Logitech G27.  :smileyvery-happy:
