DiRT 2 – Technical Assistance

whatever pedals or buttons i assign the brake pedal for, its always on in the race the brake light is always on, I dont remember how to fix this anymore... i remember that ive fixed it 2-3 years ago but dont remember what i did to fix it, windows 7  g25 + dirt 2 . thanks

and the combined pedals are unchecked... throttle is fine but brake is always on nomatter what button or pedals i remap it to

you need to put 5% deadzone on the brake pedal.

That fixed it for me.

I tried the 5% deadzone on brake still my car wont move foward cause its on the brake its like the ebrake is stuck but the ebrake is unassigned just in case... the first time i play this game i had the same problem 2 years ago and found a fix on the internet but cant find it anymore... i cant throttle but the brake is on like the parking brake or something...

i tried on automatic and its stuck onreverse full throttle so the brake/reverse is like stuck but my wheel works just fine on any other dirt or games... i just dont remember what i did to fix it 2 years ago...

i fixed my problem ! had to install the new version of logitech profiler.... now the light of my brake pedal is on but doesnt seem to slow me down, tried the 5% deadzone, still on, one problem after the other...

Have you tried to raise deadzone till light stops burning, just to check when it stops?

And do you use combined or seprate pedals?

I find everything works beter with seperate pedals.

Good to hear the car isn't slowing down anymore though.

yes the brake pedal was stck for no reason, justthe wingman profiler new drivers fix itself. i needed to restart the game and no more brakelights bug. this game is a blast, some good memories but with ultra graphics and full AA and evrything. thanks again

yeah like the game better then dirt3 tbh.
