Question Laptop to Xbox360 VGA

Hi

I've got a VGA cable now, and have tested it out by connecting my laptop up to my TV

But I was wondering if it was possible to use the laptop as a TV monitor and connect my Xbox 360 to it via the VGA.

Are there any settings I have to change?

Is it even possible??

Thanks in advance
Will

You can connect your Xbox360 to your computer but not through the VGA cable. The VGA connector in the back of your computer is OUT-going only. Which means, the laptop's VGA connector is only to connect another viewing device to act as a monitor for the laptop only...like a video projector or a monitor. That is the same for your Xbox360...the VGA connector is only so you can connect the OUT-going video signals to something that will display the image...like a big-screen TV or monitor.

If you connect your VGA cable between your Xbox360 and your laptop, you may burn out either or both of them!!! You will destroy both of them.

Here is a link describing how to hook your Xbox360 to your computer the correct way.
