Fantastic stuff, guys. Keep them coming!

The pictures don't have to be 3d... as long as its pictures, go crazy in whatever way you want.

I can see some of you have already done that.

Talking 3d

no, they dont have to be 3D...they just have to be visual...they have to convey your idea. I used radiant because it is what I know. But a scanned pencil sketch would work just as well. I tend to like the second one. Keep in mind this is 1950-ish. Although, who knows where technology would be if the war kept going as well as developement by Germany with thier "mad scientists"

Default P-51 sketch.

Need to compete with Nazi ME 262. So, how about a Modified P-51.

I think the terms and conditions need to emphasise that entries should be the entrant's own work, since that's a poor-quality tracing of Alliant Techsystems Inc's phase III OICW prototype.

Default The SS Interior Supression Unit

I had a lot of fun with this, and it's the first piece I've finished to a standard I'm pleased with in quite some time. I'd only heard rumours about Turning point; fall of liberty before this comp but I'm definately going to pick up a PC copy when I can afford it! - thanks for the comp guys.

The SS Interior Suppression Unit (A.KA. The Sarcophagus) is the result of Nazi-bio-mechanical research. Encasing a dying SS commander within a walking life support system he is able to continue fighting. Combining the undying commitment to the Nazi ideals with German, mechanical ingenuity, the SS interior Suppression unit is a force to be reckoned with. The machine is built for indoor fighting, and because of the massive cost of production is rarely utilized in exterior warfare, this tactical use of the machine makes it unstoppable as it’s hull is flame resistant and the closest thing to bullet proof you can get.

Weaponry:

Wrath of the dragon (his left arm) - The Sarcophagus’s left arm is completely mechanical, with a built in sub machine gun and a high powered, state of the art flamethrower. Unlike a normal flame-thrower the ‘wrath of the dragon’ had the pilot light built into the device itself. This has a lot of benefits, as the machine’s mechanics are relatively primitive it struggles to move it’s arms sometimes, especially while exposed to the heat of a burning room and so if the pilot was to burn out it would have no way of re-lighting it.

Sub machine gun - In the unlikely event that the flame-thrower fails, ‘the wrath of the dragon’ has a built in sub-machine gun with an extended clip (100rounds). Although it carries additional clips, as stated before it often struggles with arm mobility and reloading can be difficult.

Side Arms - A special version of the Luger was created specifically for this unit, at almost double the size of a regular Luger it is difficult to lift for a regular human and impossible to fire. The far larger, explosive shells it delivers are impossible to survive, however with only 12 rounds and no way of reloading (used by right hand, the left has no fingers) it is more the fear factor that makes it impressive.

EDIT: one of my Norwegian friends is going to get the names translated for me into german. haha.

This vehicle, affectionately named "The Coney Island Chilli Dog" because of the gas tanks cylindrical shape, is a heavily modified fire truck ,which has been adopted by the resistance as their primary offensive vehicle. It is equipped with a flame thrower capable of firing a jet of burning diesel fuel over 100 ft. The flame thrower works by using a high pressured gas tank to force diesel fuel out of the trucks hose, which is lit by a small flame jet at the end of the hose nozzle, because the diesel fuel comes from the same tank as the engine uses, so prolonged use of the flame thrower will bring the truck to a standstill. To help protect the flame thrower operator, there is a shield situated around the flame thrower.

All of the trucks interior has been reinforced to protect from small arms fire, there is also armour plating on the cabin side windows and around the gas tank. At the rear of the truck is a captured german machine gun which is fired by a gunner sitting inside the rear cabin. This makes for affective defense. To cope with the rough terrain of the ruined streets of New York the truck has been fitted with heavy duty off road tyres, and to help plough through rubble and obsticals the front has been fitted with a shunting grill.

To carry all this extra weight the chassis has been reinforced and the engine has been tuned to deliver more torque and horse power. With all these features and being capable of carrying 5 people, the "Coney Island Chilli Dog" is bound to be unpopular with the German occupiers.

So there is my attempt. I hope you dont mind the simple drawings, i am 17 but thats the best i can do. Best of luck everybody. Sam.
