Kick Ahead/Kick Behind Rating

I hosted my first online room today and when checking my stats I noticed my Kick Behind rating jumped from 0% to 5% in just 8 races.

I am unclear as to what this statistics means. I know I accidentally hit one person from behind and kicked them off the track and recieved a warning flag for it.

I also as host kicked one player out of the room who was behind and just sitting on the track trying to be an obstacle to cause DNF's it seemed to all in the race and they asked me to boot him.

Can anyone tell me what these ratings are referring to?

Kick Ahead Rating is gained by kicking ppl ahead of u during a race.
Kick Behind Rating is gained by kicking ppl who are behind u during a race.

So if u c somebody with a high Kick Ahead Rating and they are the host, u know 2 get ur ass out of that room because u will be kicked if u are beating the host

Yes, basically it's there to identify hosts who abuse the ratings system by kicking drivers who are ahead of them- this was a notable problem in TRD2.

I'd be interested to know if it's worked actually. This was one of my own ideas and it would be fun to know if it was any good

are there still lots of bad hosts out there?

first off good idea, i've never hosted a room personally but at the same time i've never been kicked.
one thing i do think codemasters and all games companies in general need to improve on is the instruction manual. people aren't in general gonna be worried about this rating if probably about 70-80% of the people that play online have no idea what these ratings mean. not knocking the idea at all, but the player needs to be informed on these additions to the game.

DAD101 and xFTKx OWNED, #1 and #3 in the world both kick ppl if they are being beaten.(on XBL) They both have a kick ahead rating(not sure what %, but its at least 3% i believe) As u can c from other posts there are ppl complaining about these 2 ppl and on different Forums aswell.
So far these are the only 2 ppl my friends and i have noticed.

It was a great idea RFT and is very usefull information.

yes great idea, hopefully they will have a hard time getting thier rating any higher if people stop joining thier games. They just play all day stealing points from less experienced players.
