i wasnt goin to buy a console.but i broke down and bought a new ps2.and gran turismo 4..can i use my cable connection to play online? or do i have to pay for online use? i havnt read the manual on it.figured id get better answers here..anyone got any ideas?

If you've got one of those slimline PS2's all you need mate is a crossover cable into the ethernet card on your P.C or straight into your router and once you've sorted out your username, password, and email in the gamespy login bit when you fire up the game you're away. No charge. Look forward to racin with ya. Welcome to reliable online gaming for free with relatively cheap hardware.

Ha Ha good point Master, GT4 is not an online game but as Roush posted on a TRD3 thread I just assumed he had TRD3.
