I played the demo and loved it so much that I got the game for my birthday.
The single player game is awesome! I have recently got high speed internet and have been trying to find a racing game that plays well online, which I thought I had found in RD3. Yes, I have had some fun times online with this game, but I also like so many other people I have a router and have had the same problems some people have been having with gamespy not recognizing my account. If I disconnect my router and go straight to my computer I do not have any problems getting online, however when I do get online I don't see a whole lot of servers that appear to be here in the USA. I was wondering how many gamers in the USA have purchased this game and also wondering if the reason I do not see a lot of servers in the USA is because of the router issue. If that is the problem then it seems a shame for Codemasters to miss out on getting the problem corrected with the Gamespy log on issue. I realize that the easy answer is to just don't use a router when you play, but disconnecting a router everytime you want to play this or any other game just somehow does not seem to be a very good solution to a problem that seems, from what I have read, to be able to be fixed through a patch of the code for the game. That is not even taking into account that your cable jack over time will become damaged from plugging and unplugging it to play this game online. I play alot of other games online with this router without a hitch so by saying it is a router issue with Gamespy just does not hold water in my opinion. I know I am rambling and I really do like the game, but I just had to voice my opinion on the online portion of the game. |

A lot of Americans play (myself included, =NBW=LugnutUSA), but the majority of the people who play are non-American.
Which is fine, because I've raced against some very great competitors from just about every nation.

I would race online more if I didn't get the "Rd3 needs to Crash Error" after every other race.
I'm lucky if I can get 2 races in online before the" 'RD3 .exe has encountered a problem and needs close. Sorry that we just ****ed you off" error. So back to free race mode I go. |

I don't mind playing against non-americans. I was wondering how many people in the USA bought the game because I don't see alot of servers that appear to be in the USA, or if the reason I don't see servers that appear to be in the USA is because alot of people are having the same log in problems that myself and, from what I read, alot of other people are having? Thats really all I was talking about. The farther away the server the higher the ping times

We (LHS) race almost every night. Look for our server when we put it up - LHS Racing. We try to run a clean track and dont put up with tards and etc. I live in the central region of the US so most in the US should get decent pings from my rig. (8mb down & 512k up). 8)
