disconnections

a friend of mine bought the game to play online with me... he always disconnects (timeout)... sometimes after few laps but most of the time after hte race start... quite annyoing... as he s got no problems with other games or software... any ideas?

btw: while disconnecting he stays connected to gamespy !!!

If condemasters brought out dedicated server files for servers to host races we wouldnt have to deal with lame connections from host or players. Especially in New Zealand where out internet system is a ****ing joke!
I get disconnected all the time and lagg like a pig, cars freeze up, i freeze up. Have to race with no collision just to have fun. The multiplayer aspect of RD3 is **** because of having to host or join hosts.
I have more fun in time trial chasing my own ghost
