Default Driving wrong way - could be a good idea

I only mention this because it's happened so many times online that I've kind of gotten used to it. Now I keep one eye on the track, the other on the map. I can usually see if some dweeb is loitering or coming up the wrong way.

This got me thinking. I've actually enjoyed the challenge of avoiding a renegade driver coming up the wrong way on the track. Countless times I've punched air as I successfully managed to avoid the idiot and stayed in the race. Others haven't been so lucky.

But it would make a good challenge in a large race if one guy was appointed to drive the wrong way. Everyone else has to race as normal, but all the while they have to avoid this renegade driver on the track - an added danger. It means you have to be doubly vigilant. Of course, hiding under bridges, or around corners, etc, is out of the question.

Don't flame me - it's just an idea.

Just go in the regulair server and you find such a 'challenge'.

LOL

I like the way you think Bogarde. Good idea, should go into our wacky-races folder along with NO RULEZ Truck racing.

I also have developed a method of keeping one eye on the map and the other on the track, this way you can tell when people have crashed up ahead. It's going to be harder now I have to keep one eye on the map, one eye on the track, and another on my mirror.

Hey, DT, we had fun racing NO RULEZ truck racing the other night! I know many 'purist' racers will scoff at the idea, but this was difficult, required immense skill and was very exciting racing - and I'm all for it. It makes a nice change from formal 'fairplay' racing.

I think the fact that we were continuously running with a full to near-full capacity with very few fools to spoil the fun says it all!

I look forward to more of it - as well as NO RULEZ rallycross - an absolute blast!
