i bought yesterday the pack with the 10 days.
i create an account and i enter the 10days code. but for some reason this message came on the Manage Subscriptions. "here was an error when retrieving your subscriptions. Support staff have been notified" what should i do ? :S |

tried emailing them .very prompt response .....but in no way helpful.
just stock answer of servers are very busy ,which i understand but that is not my problem. "There was an error when retrieving your subscriptions. Support staff have been notified" according to the message i got above it seems i need their help to fix it so me just waiting for server load to lighten up is not helping matters |

OK, I got an email back about this issue. A guy named Rob is telling me to create a new COG Account. Now that sounds like they can't be bothered fixing it, or they don't know how. Doesn't inspire me with confidence.
Besides, I can't create a new one. When I try to enter my email information, it tells me I already have an account. Do they expect me to sign up for another email address just because they can't fix their own account system? Codemasters need to shape up if they don't want some serious customer complaints on their hands... |

Decided I couldn't wait for the inept Codemasters to sort out their wreck of an account system. Used a separate email address to sign up for a new COG Account, and tried registering my LOTRO code using that. It worked, but the system was slow and riddled with error messages once again (e.g. you must be logged in to use this service, etc.)
Not an amazing first impression. Then again, this is the same company that supports gems such as DDO and RF-Online. I can't expect too much. For all of those that are having this error message; don't bother to wait for Codemasters to reply. Creating a new account is their recommended way to avoid fixing their system. |

Having similar problems.
Made an account, but when I try and make a suscription it will periodically give me the "not logged in message", when changing page. I e-mailed them this afternoon, but have had no reply whatsover. Is this game really worth playing? I didn't do beta and at the moment it seems like a very amateur set-up. Even once you manage to log in there is lagging and UI issues (according to this forum). |

I bought my 10 day pack a while ago and tried to enter my subs but i get the message... "This key is invalid, or not for this product. Please check it and try again" yet i have filled in the feild and have "LOTRO" selceted, i just opened a ticket with the customer support and pending a response now...
... a nice 10day early access now gonna be alot less.... Doh !!! |
