Hi all!
Installed game, logged on, choose server and hit the Connect button. Game apparently tries to connect, but returns an error message: SSE is required, but missing from your motherboard. Please consult your manufactuere to see if SSE can be enabled. I play other modern game-engines, such as WoW and Eve...my motherboard (Asus A7v133) should be SSE enabled, and was manufactured 2 years later than SSE was introduced (SSE introduced 1999, mobo is from 2001) Any solutions to this, is it a bug? Any help most appreciated! ![]() Cogs |

SSE is a function of the processor (but can be switched on and off by the board manufacturer), the early Athlons didn't support it.
If you have an Athlon and it supports SSE it may be enable by a program (the name of which escapes me - but I will look it up) The program is called WCPUID
