Default Player Recruitment Bonus Program

I've been playing LOTS of MMO's over the years,
and i was a bit surprised to see that DDO doesn't have
some sort of 'Player Recruitment Bonus Program'.

For example: You get a friend to buy DDO, and when they register the game online, they refer to you, and you get an extra month worth of play time as a bonus.

I've never seen that anywhere before...

Would I ask more friends to try if I got free time? Nope. I ask those I think might have an interest anyway, no need for free time as a bonus.

Thinking of multiclassing? Just a splash? Or deep models.
A pure bard that fights? Yes, right here.
ZOMG caught on video!

I don't say I don't like free game time but if I have a friend who I think could be interested in DDO - I would suggest him/her to try it.

It has nothing to do with "Bonus".

NCSoft ran a scheme some time ago in CoX. You got a 7 day buddy pass to give to a friend and if they went on to subscribe you got a unique item. I forgot what that item was but lets say in DDO they could give a special emote like "Tinfoilhat" or a temporary item like a vorpal with 1 durability.
