Hi,
my suggestion: Please change bluff so that upon a succesful bluff the enemy turns his back on you so you can backstab him. Thank you. Meo

Mmm...technically bluff is supposed to give you a chance to Sneak attack your foe if you win the test against his and make him loose his Dex bonus to CA for this attack.....is there a problem and it doesn't work anymore ?
You do not have to strike a foe backwards to have the Sneak attack bonus, you only have either to strike at a foe that targets someone else, or a foe that did not detect you.....bluff being one action that may give you the chance to make one sneak attack even if the foe targets you |

I think I know how it is supposed to work, and I know the sneak-attack mechanics basically (though i still don´t understand why i do not get sneak attack against stunned or fascinated enemies).
Fact is, that the "face skills" should prevent you from being hit at least for the duration of the skill (6 seconds?), which it does not in most cases. That is what i want to stress.

If I understand you correctly Meowin, I agree,
it might even increase the chances people actually put points in the skill! /Signed ...personally I never put points in the skill, cause I don't know how it works, and I got probs lvl'ing up as is, putting points in a skill I find out I don't want, is the last thing I want to do. Probably some texts explaining how they work in-game would be NICE TURBINE!!! instead of those hinted help texts that really can't be used for anything than mocking. |

Using bluff to feint should not IMO make an opponent not attack you, but it should make him "open his defenses" so that you can sneak attack him and deny him his dex to AC for the duration of the skill. No idea if it works like this already, since I, as Shaell have not bothered to test it too much because lack of time/char slots. - Cru |
