Save GUI settings on client PC

I've already complained about this in beta, but seems to have gone unheard... WHY, for all that's holy, does DDO save the GUI settings on the server instead on the client PC?
I don't know any numbers, but I bet there are a lot of people who play one more than one or resolution, and having to adjust the window placement every time is more than annoying. No other game I know does that, so why DDO?
And btw, fix the dice window.. it doesn't seem to get saved at all..

Really handy if you use different machines. I'd guess that's why, and a very valid reason in my book.

If you use different PCs with the same resolution, it's fine..
if you use different resolutions, you have to rearrange the windows/bars on each login - and that's not fine.
better have the people arrange their stuff once on every machine they use instead of once for each login.
