Mission failed right after start of mission

Ive played UDSSR Mission 3, where you have to find the contact person. I moved my 3 men through the railway station and reached the contact person.
Now he gave me the next mission to reach the train. When i hit return i see a clock (about 3 and a half minute) and the mission fails immediately.

Potential causes?

I destroyed the waagon with the 3 MG nests with a tank grenade. Is this waagon part of the next mission and because its no longer there the mission failed? The train i have to take is not damaged in any way (as far as i can see).

Any ideas?

I made a screenshot. You see, i have 3minutes and 49 seconds left to reach the train. But the mission fails right after i get it.

Any ideas? Is this a bug or did o destroyed something that is needed in the next part´?

I could also offer a safegame right before i contact the contact person.

i've played through this mission
all i know is the contact person must survive
and board the train

firsdt read u mission opjectif end then u see that u have 2 go to the train go in site the lok end u can moof outsite the station whit the train. budt if u are smardt u take out firsdt som moor germany soldiers a roundt the station end then go to the house wher u meedt u contackt end then u have 3 minuts to go to the train budt if u look good u see the tank end u can tak it so it will be easy. ggg

so take the lokomotif end drife out site the station end u winn.
meby u kildt the lokomotif drifer the germany end he candt drife enymore so u have to drif the traine u self out site ggg i hope u can read this du

Hi Isaac... it looks like someone has shot up the train which you have to board at the end of the mission. If this train is damaged then the mission is failed.

It looks like the fail condition is not triggering until you've met with Dudkov.

If you attack or kill Dudkov the mission will fail.
If you damage any of the carriages of the train that you escape in the mission will fail.

Try restarting the mission and see if you get the same problem again.
It might be useful to send your savegame file to the customer services at Codemasters so they can have a look at it....
