Default picking up dropped item hidden from view?

Hello everyone, demo version question here.

If an item (eg repair kit) is dropped on the ground, and is hidden from the player's view by, say, an immovable tank, and I cant get a 'pick up' icon; is there a work around to enable me to pick up that item?

Thanks for your kind attention and time.

You can use the tab key to high-light the items you can pick up, but if an item is actually under a tank then you are seriously out of luck...

Thanks Bob. The item isnt right under the tank, but just hidden from the player's view on the game's playing angle. I wouldn't worry if its under the tank lol.

Thanks to everyone for replying and being helpful
