Disappointing demo
Iīve expected better software for a demo. The steering is worser than in DTM2 and the graphics are low res. Changing the settings to highres and full details doesnt help. To play this demo you need a direct x dll which is normally not included with windows xp. The Honda Civic is much too slow for testing.

You couldnīt prove it better that your screenshots were heavily faked... releasing this demo was a mistake Codemasters...

I can't get the demo running.
It's asking for D3DX9_26.DLL. in an other forum i saw someone who had the same problem, nut there wasnt a answer for this problem. Does anyone here know what i have to do? Pinguin. |

You can find the missing dll by using google and the filename of the dll. There are some zip-archives floating around the net. Unfortunately the demo is not worth viewing it. If you are used to see graphics like in need for speed underground you will be disappointed. The graphics in this demo would have been fine in 2000 but not in 2005! Most playstation games look much better. I wonder why this demo consumes so much cpu and graphiccard ressources. The Honda Civic should be removed from the game. It is much too slow and boring. Lets hope the final product is better.

Freezing
There are well known Problems. With Force Feedback its freezing. See Technical Problems "freezing"

I love Honda Civic
I agree that the graphics are like DTM2 (runs very smooth though), but seeing from this demo there's gonna be a lot of Honda racing and because I've got a Civic myself I will buy this game for sure, because I love that car... (there is one in Juiced, but that game s*cks). So for me it's finally a chance to legally race (instead of on the streets
 ). And I expect the final game to be much better in term of graphics (heavier on system requirement as well though).This is off course merely a promotional demo of the new Honda Civic (not DTM3).
