You've all been waiting very patiently, but today, we can confirm the release dates for Rise of the Argonauts. So start saving those pennies! Check your retailer for exclusive pre-order goodness with some exclusive items up for grabs to those who pre-order the game.

Why is it delayed in the UK? Is it going to be cut in any way in this version?

YES! YEEESSS! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I can't tell you how much I've been looking forward to playing this game. This fall, I got Gears of War 2, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, The Force Unleashed, Silent Hill Homecoming, Smackdown vs. Raw 2009, Fable 2, Far Cry 2, Rock Band 2, Left 4 Dead, and Fallout 3, and still, Rise of the Argonauts was the game I was looking forward to the most. Perfect time to release the game with Christmas right around the corner too!

PS: PLEASE can we have an XBox Live Premium Theme to accompany this game? :-)

The UK version wont be a'cut away' version at all. I'm not sure what the reason is 100%. Besides, it gives you some extra time to save that Christmas money!

Well that is kind of an evasive answer. Why is it released all over the place in December but just not in the UK?

If there is nothing to work on anymore it could just as well be released. I don't get it.

Can you tell me if the version that is going on sale in Germany will have english voice overs (and is uncut)?

If yes i will buy the german version with english VO.

Why can't you just order it from the internet and have it shipped to you if you live in the U.K.? There's going to surely be a hundered places online to order it from. I'm not saying the delay is justified but isn't this a simple way around it.

The German version is uncut but as far as I know there won't be English VO. Sorry dude.

Actually I live in Germany and want to own the english uncut version. That is why I am so eager to know what causes the delay.

German voice acting is usually sub par the original voices. I have never played a game where I actually liked the german voices except the german made Gothic series of RPG's. That is the only bearable exception.

I have the UK version preordered at Play.com. I just wonder why there is this delay as the english version is certainly ready for release.
