Cool Thanks RTF!

I think that this are not exactly the demo specs 'cause...

As all of you probably know... it's not always only about hardware...

So I recommend Defrag after installation, clear temp folders, have a decent registry or use the msconfig.exe to disable all services that run at the start and are not useful for gaming... but are very good eating RAM memory.

If you have more than one hard drive use one for the programs and the other for the data and link the data one to the Virtual Memory. It's an easy way to prevent excesive reading and writing at the same hard drive... that usually slows everything related to gaming.

Be sure you have the latest Nvidia/Ati Drivers. If you don't have the last drivers first you have to uninstall the old ones.

There's a lot of info in the net about how to optimize your PC.

And... please... If you don't have the last in hardware try to dicrease the graphic settings... don't blame developers if you're trying to play at Ultra quality with a very old graphic card...

Congratulations... I'll never understand the fight between the different gaming systems...

Xbox Vs Playstation 3 Vs Wii Vs Pc Vs Mac Vs Windows Vs Linux Vs WTF!... this don't make any sense!.

TenTonDog enjoy your great Xbox360. I dislike console gaming but I respect console gaming.

You're posting from your pc anyway. So my recommendations are not only for gaming... you will increase your computer performance.

Remember that I'm not RTF so all the things I recommend are personal thoughts... no official recommendations!.

I have a very old system with a P4 Ht 3,2 processor (very good for bottlenecking ) but with a 8800 gt SSC Evga videocard and good optimization I enjoy every title without any problems. Maybe I would have to disable multisampling in GRiD.

A question for you TenTenDog... how much time do you think this "next-gen" consoles will be at the market?... Do you know that they are looking very old-gen?... you must forget about a console in the market for more than 3 years now. They can't hold Directx 10. And once the technology exist, a real bunch of new generation consoles will arrive. Soon. The Times They Are A-Changin'.

Dude ... take a chill pill!!

I merely said I was glad I'm playing Xbox 360 because I know very little about computers and have no idea what all that meant!!! Lol

It was just a joke!!

Let's not go into plattformbashing. There's other forums for that, and this is not it. Thank you.

That said, thanks for the constructive advice, Nil - all of that is helpful to get the best performance out of any demanding game.

Agreed, though on one point, i always thought it better to defrag the partition (the game install one) BEFORE installing the game.(?)

Nope, when you install a game (or any program), the partition gets more fragmented. Defraging it before installing wouldn't help too much..
(sorry for my bad english)
