Xbox 360 Update - Latest News

A Friday afternoon update for Xbox 360 users affected by the Brewery Issue:

Many thanks for your continued patience in waiting for the Xbox 360 update, to include a fix for the Brewery Issue.

I’ve been reliably informed that we expect this update will be available within the next four weeks. We'll be able to confirm a live date once the code is approved, projected to be early next month.

If the timescale for this is amended (for whatever reason) I'll let you know straight away, although at present any further hold-up seems unlikely.

Again, Codemasters is very sorry to those of you who have been waiting for this update.

what the hell????? we have been waiting a long time just to tell us that we have to wait 4 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Upto 4 weeks. But for those with the X-Box, at least you know whats happening with it now.

Thanks for the update. I know that Xbox patches have additional testing requirements and QA processes to go through to be authorized by Microsoft, but wow, really 4 more weeks? Ah well, I've waited this long, I can wait a little longer. Bioshock and Metroid Prime 3 will tide me over.

Say, Rubbergenius, will this update include the recently announced split-screen multiplayer feature?

Wow.. where was that announced? That'd be interesting since I can't play multiplayer over live (only have a silver account).

Well, they can't exactly make the XBL folks approve it faster. Blame them.

Where is everybody complaining about anyway?
I play the 360 and without this forum informing me of the bugs I didn't even notice them or got stuck on them.
And yippie! the update is almost here, atleast they gave us a timetable now, within 4 weeks.

Where I'm waiting for is the hopefully free download of extra story line ect, story was a bit short.
I wanna know how far are they along with that one? I don't expect far, just released Overlord, working on updates ect. But anyone any idea?

This will be a separate update to the recently-announced split-screen multiplayer shenanigans.

I thought the Overlord Xbox 360 update for the Brewery problem was already out? My Xbox announced that there was an update for the game about a week and a half ago and I've since been able to progress through the Brewery from where I was previously stuck.
My brother tried the same thing with his Xbox and got no such message - so how come my game updated but not his?
