Hello, I (lvl 20 hunter) have just acquired the desperate flight skill, but how can I use it? I bought some travelling rations... Do I have to eat those first, before I can use the skill? When I right click on the rations in my bag or on the skill nothing happens... Can anybody help please?

Yeah did all that, but still nothing happens when I click on the icon... Do I have to be in a certain situation for it to work or does it work when I'm not in danger as well... just want to try it... so I know it's reliable in a dangerous situation...
PS: The words in the desperate flight description that say I need travelling rations are violet... does that mean anything maybe? |

as Jenna said, as long as you have traveling rations in your inventry you should simply be able to use the skill like any of your others by clicking the icon in your quick slot bar. It can be used anywhere and at anytime and it is an incredibly useful skill, if as above you are simply feeling lazy as I do a lot(i mean who wants to run everywhere!), or if you are in a fight you are sure your not going to win, as long as you dont leave it to late to hit the button you'll be fine, it does have a short induction timer but nothing major. This is an especialy entertaining skill in the Ettenmoors as it really anoys monsters if you disapear just before they get the kill :P

It wont work whilst you are moving, but in or out of combat whilst stationary and it should be fine.

Hi Sarond, I noticed from your first post that you are right clicking the icon, I'm pretty sure that you have to left-click it. Hope that helps and wasn't so obvious that you already tried it.
