Line bonus

Does anyone know what a line bonus is/does? Several of the class traits will give you a small line bonus, but I have no idea what it does.

No idea on that one myself. It sounds like you should be able to 'add' to the bonus later doesn't it, like the way traits stack each time you get a +1?

I wondered if this was applied to one's fellowship, as in, 'the line'

A line is the category that a skill is in, unfortunately the line bonus described in the description doesn't literally match what's in your char skill screen, but meh...
