Hi all
Would like to have some advises on which professions I should choose as a hunter. I was thinking of woodsman as one profession, but all ideas are welcome! Cheers

Personally I would go for either woodworking (spears & bows ) or explorer (all resources + light & medium armor).
I might be completely wrong, but i rather choose a profession where I can use some of the outputted products myself

Yeah, Explorer or Woodworker. There aren't really any other choices.

i m a woodsman on my lvl 22 hunter and after completing the lvl 20 woodworking quest (to unlock tier 3) i made myself a yew bow
lvl 21 with 12 dps and agro reduction a very nice replacement for my 9 dps bow i still had (and that was the best bow that was found by me and 2 friends) so for me personally, being a woodsman just paid off with a very nice bow.

You could try Armsman... get your own ores, smelt them yourself, make your own swords/daggers/hammers/whatever you use... and you get woodworking along with it, so you can make your own bows too. (ok, so you need some way to get treated wood, but there's a downside to all professions)
Nice etched yew bow, 2x Gondorian swords... and since most quest rewards are armour, no problems there either. To be honest though, it doesn't really matter which profession you chose... as long as it suits your style of play,. You can buy the weapons or armour you need from other players.

Don't underestimate cooking!
![]() I'm cook/farmer/tailor, and some of the food you can make is really helpful as a hunter. Food that increases power and morale whilst in combat is always handy! And lets not forget my +12 agility crispy bacon! |

![]() u can make ur own campfires to cook ur 20 min stat food, and the regen food is very handy for any class, and then to top it off, u make ur own armour with tailor, Yeoman is def the way to go

Maybe not ideal but I went for Yeoman for reasons stated above - the cookery is handy for making nice bonus & regen food, plus can make our own armour (if we get someone to supply the boiled leather). The reason I went for this over bowmaking or weaponcrafting is that it looks as though the reward/drop bows/weapons are currently better than the crafted stuff. But as someone else said it really is down to personal preference - there are pros and cons for each.
