Default Trapping

Is there any way to tell how long someone will remain trapped with the base skill (and the others traps, I just haven't gotten to them yet) and how much damage will be done, without having to memorise each mob?

Damage, I'm not sure about.... but you can see the remaining time the mob is trapped, by holding your mouse-arrow over the little "trapped-icon" under the mobs name/info bar.

It's quite a long time, I can usually attack two mobs, trap one, then finnish the first mob, kill a third mob, and still land swift arrow on the trapped mob before the trap counter runs out.
