Well, I think the champion class has the best DPS, but hunter is also awesome with DPS - Especially when setting traps!

Crowd control - so-so, the traps are ok but you need to plan each fight, not many options if you accidentally pull extra mobs. You do have a multiple mob melee attack that slows, so you can run/attack/run. You also have a shout ability that can scare mobs, cant remember if it was humanoids or beasts though as I never really started using it. I was playing hunter before the last patch, after which mobs seemed to become a little tougher, but before that I could easily outdps 2 mobs my own level, also healing pots were freely available from vendors then so using pots was part of my lazy attack plan HTH a little

The hunter will surely be my main character since that would be my favorit class.
I would agree with Nat about Champions got the best dps. Hunters got a very good dps as ranged that makes them deadly

Hunters have better BURST damage than champions but the champions have better sustained damage.
What i mean is that the hunter class may have inidividual attacks that do more damage than any champion can do but the champion can dish out good dps for longer so overall they are similar. |
