English Guild on Dorn

Hi to all,

I just started playing DDO a few weeks ago and I think it is realy great. I am coming from WoW which I only played for a short while..(some of you might guess why

) I started of with SWG which still these days I consider the best online game ever before they came up with all their ridicoulus changes. But nevermind.

When I joined DDO I didn't realy read about the different servers so I joined the Dorn server without knowing that this is the inofficial german server. I didn't even notice it after quite some time, mainly because I am originaly swiss and speak german so it's no problem for me.

However I meet again and again people who started playing the same as I did and ended up and not always do they want to restart with a new char.

Therefore I started a guild that is for the very few english speaking players on this server. It is not always easy as not everybody speaks english here (for good reason of course).

So in short if someone wants to be part of this no matter if you are english speaking only or not, as long as you accept that during quest time with people from the guild there is an english only rule, please be welcomed to get back to my either via email at the moment or via this thread here.

I hope we soon have our ingame mailing system which will make things much easier.

I don't want to go into to much details here about it just let me say that most people are welcome as long as they are nice with each other and know how to behave.

So in any case to all of you have a lot of fun playing ddo and good luck in your adventures.

Ah and try to post your thread in the main section cause non german speaking people will not look in the Dorn thread :-)

That is actualy I realy realy good point

why didn't I think about that? Thanks for that I guess it's obvious that sometimes my enthusiasm is bigger then my brian
