I also have this problem!
Could it be true that no one is going to try to fix it?
That would be so bad!
What is the point of buing games if you can't play online?
Why would I like to buy DIRT2 now? Will it be the same with DIRT 2?

I have sent an email to CodeM about this.
And their answer was:
"Due to the age of the game, DiRT is no longer playable online I'm afraid."

This is quite astonishing I think.
Like no one would want to play counterstrike or AOM etc.
Because they are old?
There are thousends of people playing old games every day!
Why did they have to make it so that only they had the servers?
Any other multiplayer game is made so that anyone who has the game can start a server. Why doesn't DIRT work that way?
So frustrating!
Well I will play other games like Race 07!

Default Ya get that....

G'day,

Well theres another neg for PC games. Heres a quick list;

No online Colin Mcrae Dirt

No secaond hand game access to Dawn of War II (once only user).

$1000 dollars plus for graphics setup (plus power to run it) to utilise decent graphics setup.

2 hours per game on average to install, setup, upgrade patches, find solutions register, setup online accounts (Why?). Yea games are awesome, so are console.

AAAARRRRGH, is going to be just the filthy rich or those in severe debt just to play modern games????

I just might go back to bouncing a ball against a wall with a stick and roling a hoop down thw road (watch out for the traffic lights).

More than 10 different logins for different forums for guidance sush as; Codemasters, Steam, Ubisoft, Lucas Arts, THQ, plus login to online play (if it exists).

I can feel a console coming on.....doesn't chew up as much time just to play it..... just cant understand PC complications and delaying....I can feel a console coming on.....(must be sung like old 4X Aussie beer add (bad beer, great add)).

C'mon gamers, do you remember when you were 15 and wanted so much to just play the bloody game!!!
