This is the first time Im thinking of selling a game because its too easy to win online. Wether its because Im just good, or the majority of the gamers are crap at driving i dont know. I have raced 680 online races, got 620 podiums and 460 online wins. Then seeing as how more then half of these races were races with collisions on (and we all know people like to ram in these gamemodes) most times I didnt win it was because I got rammed. Only 1 out of 40 lobbies I actually find someone who is similar to me or is better. I dont count in:
-People who win by ramming -People who win due to bugs in the game (where you finish 10 seconds infront of them but you still somehow rewards you with a 3rd place) -Cheaters (most people in the top ranks for rally races) who cut off huge chunks of the race in rally races. Apart from these kind of people I have only got beaten an handful amount of times. It seems that 99% of the community prefers to either ram other players, crash their car or like to drive off cliffs. The people that still do their best cant drive at all and crash their car too eventually. Whats wrong with everyone, is it so hard to keep your car on a road like the Mali Alan Pass? Because at least 90% of the people I race crahs at least twice on that race for example while its one of the easiest races in the game. Yeh im thinking of selling Dirt 2 because of lack of competition. I havent bought Forza 3 but im not thinking of buying it. My friend has it and its even worse there. My friend is a decent driver but he has about 160 races and 120 online wins there. Seeing as how Im even a bit better then my friend that game would even be more terrible. Why are people having difficulties with driving a car? |

I don't blame you for buying DiRT2 only for on-line playing!
Look at this forum: Most threads/posts are about on-line Issues... I am not Into on-line playing, but I'm enjoying DiRT2 offline like hell! I compete against myself, driving different cars on different tracks, trying for better times and the most Important : I drive the way I like, using the road without having to worry If someone Is driving through the trees or over the cliffs! So, DiRT2 offline Is much fan too;too bad you are missing It!

Oh no im not missing it. Practically when playing online its more like an offline race because my opponents are 1 minute behind me and drive off cliffs. Its more like a trial race when Im racing online. I have done quite an amount of offline events (about 60 in total) so I know whats like.
Because of this I started to race with forced headcam and forcecmanual gears and challenged other people to beat me |

Gaming these days is all about the online experience for me. I'd much rather race against other humans (even though some of them can very annoying) than AI.
