please for the love of god do not start this camping thing in this game! camping is a lazy man's term that describes someone getting killed.

for all intent and purpose...this is Modern War...not a battle for our freedom where we stand in lines and shoot at each other...

whats worse...getting killed by a camper or camping? don't answer...please.

always roll out with the M203 mate, rips people up at range and can be cunningly used in CQB

OP has failed to infer that it is scoped weapons that are overpowered and overused. Just make the sensitivity for zoomed in the same as zoomed out.

Completlely agree with you. Since you're fighting at long distance about 95% of the time you're going to need zoom, not some metal rectangle with a slit in the middle obscuring the middle of the screen.

Not every soldier gets a scope

Besides, what are you gonna do, give a magical zoom button? =b

When I had the complete freedom of choice at the start of a mission I would *never* choose a non-zoom rifle. Unfortunately, it was too hard for the developers to give you the freedom of choice.

It is really hard to see the enemie with those, especially when you're sitting a few meters away from the screen because you're playing on a console. It often feels this game wasn't meant to be played on consoles, although the interface etc has a clear console style.
I quite like making long distance shots with iron sights. Its difficult as sin, but pretty fun if you ask me. Course I wouldn't toss up the idea of picking up a scoped one.

Yup i agree. the standard issue guns without sights are next to useless, unles your plan is dying alot.
I also agree that the bots dont die even if you pump a whole clip into them and your 10metres or less away.

Nope I disagree. I have killed hundreds of people with Iron Sights and I do not die a lot.

I would agree to a small degree that the AI do take a lot to kill. But I have only encountered a minimal number of them. Typically never see them.

I would prefer a scope, but if you are wise enough to use the Rifleman class. you would see that they are equipped with scopes. Since there is only 4 human players per team, there should be no trouble in selecting a weapon with a scope.

I guess using my suppressed M4 with UAV jammer and extreme conditioning for hardcore matches in COD4 prepared me for using Iron Sights.

Please, people, take the Rifleman class if you are that desperate to have a scope on your gun.

Half the fun of this game is missing shots and being forced to use tactics anyway
