Agreed I uninstalled it last week,(there won`t be a patch) and have had a refund from Game for my copy of this pile of junk, it was a bit of hard work but they finally agreed to giving me a refund and not just an exchange for something else.

Good riddance to bad coded rubbish, possibly the worst gaming experience I have had,Looked forward to this game for ages, could not even have imagined how disappointed I was with it.

Codemasters - a statement about the patch please!

I do think that Codemasters have had long enough now to figure out whether they can/want to (delete as appropriate) release the patch for all platforms.

As customers and loyal enthusiasts we deserve to be kept informed.

Yeah I agree. I always find silence frustrating.

Ok, I have some news from Jamie at Codemasters.

I’ve been noticing a few posts getting irritable: Apologies, but here’s the situation: we’re still doing our best to come to a resolution. It’s an INCREDIBLY complex business and although, as posts have suggested, the first priority is making sure all our guys are OK, we’re also trying to work a way to get the patch out to you guys. This has been a terrible blow to all of us, as I’m sure you can all appreciate, but we’re doing all we can to make sure that it isn’t a devastating or irreversible one.

Why no contact then? Why can’t I “take 10 minutes out to tell you what’s happening?”: Well, put bluntly, I’m not willing to confirm that the patch is still coming when I can’t GUARANTEE it, and I’m certainly not willing to confirm that a patch I desperately want to get out there ISN’T coming until I have exhausted all potential ways to make it happen.

It’s a lengthy process. And we’re (Codemasters) not at a solution yet. But some wheels are still spinning. We’re still reading the forums. And we’re still working as hard as we possibly can, 100% committed to finding a solution I promise you.

Barmy - thanks for pasting Jamie's message. At least 'no update' is better than silence.

For all the use Jamie`s message is, he may as well have written it in poo on a toilet wall, still no sign of patch ,just palming us off, no clear cut answers, just lame excuses. I wonder how many emails Barmy had to send to get that response. Pointless.

OK- but hang on. These are rather extraordinary circumstances.

BTW - No I'm NOT a Transmission bleeding heart - but the situation is understandable.

I just hope that Codemasters don't end up leaving a game that could be excellent in a half-baked state.

Just one but I agree it doesn't tell us much.
