I don't know if anyone else has ever had this issue before, from reading all of the posts it dosent seem likely.
I just bought the game and it all installed fine and starts fine however when the game starts it seems that either the textures are black or the models leave black artifacts on the screen making it impossible to see anything after a short period of time, you can see Silhouettes of jason and occasionally you can see a wall or his big friend walking by you as well as explosions. At first i thought it was a issue like GTA 4 with the missing textures but it does show textures covered by black areas so it seems that they are not missing.
Im going to attempt to place my Dxdiag file here so if i mess up well idk lol

The game manual doesn't contain anything you can't find elsewhere. It lines out the basics about the game and the controls, that sort of thing. Why do you want it?

Default Are you kidding me?

What the is going on?
I do not know what the deal is. I crash usually during conversations with the NPC's. Sometimes it will occur soon after one. Please patch this game or find a fix. I have read on other website folks having the same issue with no success. Just the same old update your drivers, it is your system etc. I was actually surprised there was no update option when the game first started at the main menu. I see that as very commonplace in so many of today's games.

My system:
Vista 32
Asus P5Q
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @3000Mhz
2 Gig Ram
Nividia GeForce 9800 GX2

Direct X updated check
Video Drivers updated check
Sound card drivers updated check
Network drivers updated check

Direct X info:
The text that I entered is too long (35050 characters).
Please advise me on what Direct X information or anything else for that matter to get this resolved.
Thank you in advance.

Default Constant 15-20 min CTDs

Hi everyone,
I just got Rise of the Argonauts today for the PC and I was quite amazed by the game. Really like it but I keep hitting the constant snag of those really annoying crashes to the desktop randomly during conversations and cutscenes with one of those generic Windows XP error messages "RiseoftheArgonauts has encountered an error and needs to close".
I've tried, changin/re-installing drivers(even the latest 190 drivers), shutting down background applications etc, everything that the FAQ mentioned but nothing helped.
My Specs:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ ~2.8 Ghz
4GB RAM
512 MB Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT
Windows XP SP3
DirectX 9.0c
Has anyone found a solution to this yet?

I can't post my dxdiag because it's too long

That's a problem everyone is having - Codemasters doesn't seem to care enough to make a patch. All I can suggest is turning on subtitles, clicking through the dialogue quick, and going back to auto-save spots often.

I think I may have fixed the crashing issue.
And it was quite a simple solution too. Just updated my sound drivers to the latest and so far no crashes.
So I suggest people try this if they're having the same problem.

Hmm, really? If that's all it took, I'll be surprised. I will try that - sound is basically the only driver I haven't updated to play the game.

Question How to invert mouse?

Hi everyone! I have one question which i didn't found in this topic. I am mouse-inverted player. So, i know this is Unreal3 engine and i know where to find all those .inis. Inside LiquidInput.ini i've changed MouseSensitivity from 60.0 to -60.0. But this also affected X-Axis I remember UT 3 where you need to go to Aliases tab/lines to invert mouse directly on Y-Axis. But now i can't remember where exatly that line is So, please, dear developers, can you give me the path where i can invert Y-Axis?
Also all 3 presets of keyboard are too uncomfortable for me. Again, i know those keys are in LiquidInput.ini, but where exactly they are? For example where the line for first preset? Can you give me that path inside file too?
Thanks and sorry for bad english.
