halflings

not been any post on here for a while so im gonna post something random


OK I love the halfling

but other than because they look all cute running around with real people items

why would you pick a halfling?

saves?
backstabbing?
AC and to hit?
dex bonus with no con neg?
healing Dragon Marks?

personalyl my halfling dex fighter was picked because of all the above reasons
but some of them could have been gotten by being a dorf....and i would have more HP..but i stand by my choice

let me know why you picked halfling as your character!

I have a B4stard Sword Dual Wielding Halfling fighter and I modeled her on one of the most devastating halfling builds of all time... Darkdays Apololypse... HAIL DD, the difference being Khopeshes bore me, so I went for B4stard swords..

The reasons,

1) Admiration of DD's build

2) A halfling wielding 2 huge swords.. come on.. that has humour factor in itself.

3) +4 AC bonus when facing large and huge opponents

4) I play for fun and part of the enjoyment for me is playing / experimenting with builds.. if it dont work I will delete

I'm a hafling only player. I rolled my first halfling back in early 2007 and I've been unable to enjoy playing anything else since. I enjoy playing stealthy and agile characters in general and I like all the halfling racial feats and their attitude (as described in PnP), but most of all I love their looks and animations. Call me childish or a pedophile or whatever, I care little about efficiency or having the best possible build out there, I play the game to have fun and I have heaps of fun playing halflings.

I know two other halfling enthusiasts on Devourer, they're not playing at the moment but I suspect at least one of them will be back sooner or later.

Because halfling /dance 1 rocks.

Hmm did we ever quest together?! My Halling Pally is using the same setup, 2wf B@stardswords

Halflings are nice, particularly when their cut off head is placed on a 10 foot pole
Other than that, I hear they're quite tasty roasted and with ketchup.

Dorfs taste even better (apart from their smell, which can be covered by garlic for example). Just speak with the cook of your local Chains of Flame for good recipes. He does not recommend Halflings though, as their meat ratio is rather poor.
