Question The Drow

Can someone tell me what the racial attributes/feats are for the new upcomming race the "Drow", in the Eberron Campain Setting?

Thank you.

No, because Turbine haven't told us, and they're not a playable race in Eberron PnP.

Any race is playable, but Drow isn't a core class no.

Here is the racial description for Drow as far as PnP is concerned. The races themselves are exactly the same from Forgotten Realms as they are in Eberron, just that their personalities are different. They worship Scorpions not Spiders, Valkoor (i think? correct me if wrong spelling) instead of Lolth, and aren't all evil, they're all neutral and just basically greedy instead.

The Drow

Drow characters are popular choices for players who like to play darker characters, as well as for those who enjoy scimitar-wielding, misunderstood outcasts. This racial class offers a set of base racial abilities plus two racial levels.

Drow Base Racial Features

All of the following are base racial abilities for the drow.

Ability Score Adjustments: +2 Dexterity, -2 Constitution, +2 Intelligence.

Size: Drow are Medium size.

Speed: Drow base land speed is 30 feet.

Proficiencies: A drow is proficient with the hand crossbow, rapier, and short sword.

Dancing Lights (Sp): A drow may use dancing lights (caster level equals drow's character level) once per day.

Darkvision (Ex): A drow has darkvision to a 60-foot range.

Immunities (Ex): A drow is immune to magic sleep effects.

Light Blindness (Ex): Abrupt exposure to bright light (such as sunlight or a daylight spell) blinds a drow for 1 round. On subsequent rounds, he is dazzled as long as he remains in the affected area.

Skill Bonuses: A drow has a +2 racial bonus on Listen, Search, and Spot checks. Furthermore, a drow who merely passes within 5 feet of a secret or concealed door is entitled to a Search check to notice it as if he were actively looking for it.

Automatic Languages: Common, Elven, Undercommon. Bonus Languages: Abyssal, Aquan, Draconic, Drow Sign Language, Gnome, Goblin.

Favored Class: Wizard (male) or cleric (female). A multiclass drow's wizard or cleric class (male or female, respectively) does not count when determining whether an experience point penalty applies.

Table SP-20: The Drow Racial Class

Level CR Special
1st +1 Darkvision 120 ft., faerie fire, spell resistance (5 + character level)
2nd +1 Cha +2, darkness, saving throw bonuses, spell resistance (11 + character level)

Drow Racial Class Features

All of the following are class features of the drow racial class.

Darkvision (Ex): A 1st-level drow's darkvision range increases to 120 feet.

Faerie Fire (Sp): At 1st level, the drow may use faerie fire (caster level equals drow's character level) once per day.

Spell Resistance (Su): At 1st level, the drow gains spell resistance equal to 5 + character level. At 2nd level, her spell resistance increases to 11 + character level.

Darkness (Sp): At 2nd level, the drow may use darkness (caster level equals drow's character level) once per day.

Saving Throw Bonuses (Ex): At 2nd level, a drow gains a +2 racial bonus on Will saves against spells and spell-like abilities.

I don't know how they're putting it into DDO, but that is PnP.

My Question is why the shall put Drow in DDO ?

At mo there is Elven, Humans, Dwarf, Warforged, Halfelins
and now let me have a look to Eberron PnP :
Elven, Humans, Dwarf, Warforgerd, Halfelins...and also half-elf, half-orc, Ferals, Kalashars, the race who can change faces (don't get the name in english) and gnome.
Those are all the playable species...so what makes you thinks they will put drows. In the Forgotten realms book Drow are describe as powerfull species +2 that means that a drow lvl 1 is as powerfull as any other species lvl 2.
I don't think they will add drow. Someone get any news coming from devs or gms ?

I never listen rumors

God only know how they are going to implement them, but I guess they will do away with the +2 level modifier because if only being able to get to lvl10 is limiting, imagine how frustrating it would be to be stuck at lvl8 with no cap increase in the very near future. They will probably have a limited range of racial traits that are both innate at creation and earned through the enhancement system like the dwarf extra bonus against poison or effectiveness against goblinoid/giant enemies. I should imagine that the drow in ddo will prove to be every bit as adaptable a race as the others.

Well m8 u forgot the +1 lvl adjustment which means that drow lvl up such as

LvL1
LvL3
LvL5
LvL7
LvL9
LvL11......

they don't take lvl2, lvl4 ... they get the xp needed for that lvl but they continue to be lvl 1 for example until they have xp to lvl up to lvl 3 so they lvl to lvl 3 from lvl1, not like normal races who lvl normal : lvl1, lvl2, lvl3......

Oh dear there's misinformation creeping in. In PnP Drow are treated as already having two levels, so a Drow with 1 level in Cleric is treated as being level 3, and requires XP as if at that level.

I doubt very much that Turbine will make Drow that way. It will be interesting to see how they handle it. The best guess is that enhancements will be used to make the character more drow-like.

well in Eberron it's not recommended to play a Drow character it's written in the book as the Sahuagins. It's clearly wrote.

You realise thats the stuff for Forgotten Realms and not Eborron drow. The FR drow get all their powers from the underdark.

I'm guessing that they will be like elves but with different enhancements.
