What are we like as faction, that is tricky as now there are many paths to tread, however at our roots, we are at one with space and skien, We believe that we belong in the skien, that it is our home, we like to mine, and collect the bounties of the skien to build the things we need.
I'm not sure all Quantar are religious any more, but there are some aspects that certainly are (see my other posts )

Also read some of the other threads on here concerning religious matters. There's even a great link to the bible of our faith, which I have found is a fascinating read.

I dunno... being a hermit fanatic priest works well with the previous Quantar religion.
But most fanatics will obviously seek large numbers to secure their claim that 'their belief is right'

We aren't all 'roid lickers, although of course that's what we'd all be doing in an ideal Universe. I'm a born and bred warrior that serves in His name - my guns may not be as big, but as the 3rd Book says "I am the lion...I am the weapon".
Some of the fundamentalists have been editing the forum, I don't think the links to the Books are still up. There's no substitute for reading them yourself. Anyone who tells you that they can be summed up in a sentence probably can't be trusted. http://mgforum.blair.at/database/hamalzah/Book_1.html http://mgforum.blair.at/database/hamalzah/Book_2.html http://mgforum.blair.at/database/hamalzah/Book_3.html http://mgforum.blair.at/database/ham..._prophets.html http://mgforum.blair.at/database/ham...n_quantar.html http://mgforum.blair.at/database/ham..._calendar.html Does anyone have the links to the linguistic database? I should point out that the Aelgas who restored the Books was my late ancestor. I don't profess to his grasp of history, so don't ask me to explain anything. OOC: If any newcomers want to know what imaginings Jumpgate Classic inspired for one squad... I humbly offer this small work of fan-fiction
