Question Devourer - PVP

Hi All,

I have done a bit of pvp amongst guildies and was wondering if there was much interest in it anymore.

If there is, couldnt we have a tournament... like a league table, with different classes etc and even a mixed table for those brave enough.

We tried setting up a tournament not long ago under the event section, but the interest was really really low, so it was canceled.

IMHO its an event that used to be easy and fair prior to mod6

i.e. of how unbalanced/unfair it is now

I have a barbarian who can reach a DR of 36 (Might be 37) + stoneskin
he has self buff HP of around 640hp
not a great ac, not enough to mention
but he has 3 dustII items that do 460 every 5-100 hits
because i have 3, its 15% chance you taking 460 damge just from me blocking
...and that doesnt inclued his thorn guard, lightning guard, acid guard, cold guard, fire guard and good guard

Maybe bad example, but an example all the same (and my dude is not built for pvp)

To note on Lears guild thing, i was watching the page, but saw no1 was taking interest, which was shame

I think DDO players in general are far less interested in PVP than other MMO players.

I know I am, the fact that DDO had no PVP way back when was one of the primary reasons I started playing.

I have been in a PVP area exactly once, a few weeks ago because I wanted to see how high my DR was when I took imp shield mastery on my fighter. So I asked a barb in my guild to come hit me as hard as he could a few times. He hit like a wuss

Heh, I'll have to come slap you around a bit when I'm on Drag. (Won't happen, but if you want to get hit hard, poke Singular, he hit's like a ton of bricks. )
