This forum need more discussion

A lot people are proud about their PvE succeses (i.e. being proud about killing mobs, hmmm), actualy we need more discussion about real challenge that no mob even with advanced AI can provide, PvP.

Just to start, who you think are top pvpers on server and why?

Really, the less talk about PvP the better, because it shouldn't be in DDO in the first place.

That said, what's the definition of a "top pvp'er"? Like the old "top whatever class" thread in general discussions? Made for nothing but a chance to come and pad your friends on the back, which is nice of course, but always miles from the truth.

Why? Does it detract from anyone's gaming experience? I've enjoyed the odd PvP brawl from time to time when I've got half an hour to spare and even though it's not really what I'm here for it can be a fun distraction from time to time.

I've just never understood why everyone does it in the Lobster - the PvP area in house J is far far better!

I am not carebear, so i am not afraid of pvp and i feel PvP is important part of game, so why this part of game shouldnt be discussed?
Killing mob, even with billion million dozillion HP's, is not accomplishment of any sort for me, because face it - its still mob and nothing more. Only people who are not competent in pvp are proud of killing mobs.

About top pvp'ers, it can be verified easy, just see how many duels wins, or can person win vs 3-4 people of its class/lvl etc.

Yes, money has been wasted developing it, money which could have been spent making quests, classes, races etc.

Quite the analysis isn't it? That's another reason for not having PvP in the first place, it attracts too many big egos and know-it-alls.

As for top PvP'er. I'm the best.

And yeah i am still proud of any PVE achievement I have done.

Nope - that only tells you how many wins they have - not against who!

My personal guess would be that the best PvP players are not on any of the PvP lists.

I just made thread because in DDO see many carebears, PvPers are few, at best.

I am with Doubar here.

I have never done PvP since I saw the guild enemity that started almost immediately PvP came out. For me at least anything that fosters person or guild dislike in this manner is not something I want to have anything to do with.

The one and only time I went to a PvP area was with a guildie to try out some new spells and spell effects. It was completely ruined by people "joining" in, despite us telling them what we were doing. These "spoilers" even went so far as to follow us to other PvP areas when we left to use a different one.

I highly doubt that a person who can make a post like you just did can come even close to what you claim. But I would love to see you try.
