Hi,
i have the problem that the game is not instantly reacting on the clicking on my mouse. There is no problem with the movement, but sometimes the minions won`t attack when i click left or they won't stop swarming out when i release the left and right mouse button. It's like every command comes three seconds later. I have a razor copperhead. Would be nice if somebody could help. And sorry for my english :-) |

Hi. I'm getting the same. Distinct lag between pressing a button and it sending or recalling a minion and the sticking on sending minions out and sweeping. Have to randomly click the buttons to get it to release.
Its bad enough that it makes some sections of the game so far difficult and die. Mine's a Logitech G5. Original I think, with the funky textured scale skin. Driver and setpoint 4.72.40. Tried game on both Windows 7 x64 rc1 and Vista x64 ulti. Pentium d945, 4gb dual channel ddr2 mem, 8800gt 512mb, creative X-fi extreme fatal1ty gamer. All latest drivers/updates ect Also can't seem to bind to left and right wheel scroll. Spose be buttons 6 & 7 according to setpoint but binding those does nothing.

I Registered specifically to post this. I am also plagued by the very same complaints people pointed out earlier in this post. What bothers me most about this is the fact it was the same for me in overlord 1. I have gone through a number of system changes and upgrades over the course of time. I have played both overlord 1 and 2 on the following 2 seperate systems:
My old rig. Amd 3500+. 2 gb ram. Ati X800 Pro. 2 80 gig hd's in raid 0. 500 gb storage. Razor Diamondback. My new rig. Core2duo 6850 @ 3ghz. 8800GTX. 4GB Ram. 2 30 gb raptors in raid 0. 1 tb storage. Previously razor copperhead, now razor lachesis. The strange thing is the only real similiraties between the systems, especially when looking at manufacturers, is the fact i run raid 0 configs and the fact that i use or have used razor mouses on both rigs. I have run my old rig with both xp and vista business 32 bit, and my new rig with xp, vista business 32 bit, and windows 7 RC. I have tested overlord on nearly all of these with all afforementioned mouses and hardware setups, and the problems persists in all of them. I'm running out of ideas here. |

So i am not the only one with this problem.
I played Overlord 1 too, but there i had't this problem. I registered that when you lower the graphic effects the problem gets better but doesn't vanish. It has to be a problem with the game or alternatively with the graphic |

I didn't have it with overlord 1 either but was using a different system then and a crappy bundled wireless mouse. Only trouble I had was holding both mouse buttons put it to sleep mode
![]() Just tried lowering and upping report rate in setpoint but no luck. Also tried closing setpoint software before running the game. |

a quick workaround for those of you that are bothered by this but can't wait to continue like me :P
Binding send minion to E on keyboard and call minion to Q worked like a charm for me. I currently use mouse1 for attacking with my overlord and mouse 2 for guard marker. it takes a few minutes to get used to it and if you try to open up the throne menu it still says you have to press space, but it works and makes it a whole lot more manageable. |

i've noticed that even when using the controls like this the bug still appears but only very very rarely. it appears sometime when you attack with your weapon XD. Darn bug just won't go away. I suppose you could rebind space for attack to get rid of it alltogether. I myself have kept it like this since it it only happens very very rarely. Besides that i really wouldn't know what to bind to mouse 1. Sweep maybe. See if the bug appears when sweeping. Guard marker on mouse 2 works so far. Which leads me to believe this issue is either with keeping either of the mouse buttons pressed, or it just appears on mouse1.
