Default Dear Codemasters, Thank you.

This game has helped me tremendously, given myself and my friends something to enjoy in our spare time, worth the hard earned cash it cost. That thing was ARMA II.

Games in Australia normally retail at around $100, and with the currency as it is, I was able to get what you claim to be the sequel to the glory of OFP, realize my mistake and get ARMA II for the same price as i would have purchased just one around 6 months ago.

Next time you go and create a good solid game, please do not try and sell a cheap console port to PC players under the guise of such a well known title. It is simply unfair in most regards, and another tarnish on your track record.

I appreciate that programmers have to find work somewhere in such difficult times, and you did put out a marvelous game in many regards, however, your marketing department is guilty of false advertising under the consumer protection laws of most countries.

If you could kindly relay on to your marketers that they should be aware that repeat purchase is by far the cheapest method of gaining sales when compared to the level of spending and effort to gain new customers according to academic journals and studies over the past decades. If this is not news to them, I would suggest to you that they are planning on looking for work elsewhere and have little to no regard for the future of your company and they may need to be expelled from the company with great haste before they can cause any more problems.

Anyway, thank you for the console port that craps out half the time in co-op, took waaay too long to patch to retain a decent aussie playerbase and helped me discover where the real programmers behind OFP put their skills, ARMAII

It is sad that arma2 player find more satisfaction off their forum & not playing arma2, sounds so familiar. Do tell why this is so? I am truly interested.

I don't waste my time any more on the BIS forums, I play ofp2 by Cm and post on their forums (Codemasters) simple. I own Arma2 but it's on the shelf till they fix it proper, meaning performance issues/ graphical breakthrough problems etc link provided.

If you don't know what I'm talking about: well over 500+ issues.
http://dev-heaven.net/projects/cis/i...ort_order=desc

I post here where I work on missions, not on BIS while I wait for something better, maybe AO but rumours are coming it's a multi-platform title console/PC which gives me the same feeling I get here with DR & the future of all PC gaming.

Don't get me wrong arma2 is an excellent title but it's not without many flaws (similar to it's predecessor) and that is why I might for the first time look at a title I don't even like, Battlefield, dam the future of gaming PC.

I too own both titles but while one is in the box, I don't see the point in posting on it's forums, that's for the members still playing..... I played Arma2 5 times that was enough for me too.

To whom do I make the check payable? Its drawn on the 1st Savings Bank of Alpha Centauri so it'll need time to clear. Thank you for helping the community out and tell your uncle, thank you. (All this time I thought Viiper was humorless, I owe him an apology)
