Oh and i also got MW2 as well for the times when you need to just go and shoot the heck out of something. So with all 3 games, i'm happy. Would be nice to have had a blend of the three tho, saves on changing the discs all the time!
You are a very tolerant guy, good decision.

If you don't know what I'm talking about: well over 500+ issues.

I post here where I work on missions, not on BIS while I wait for something better, maybe AO but rumours are coming it's a multi-platform title console/PC which gives me the same feeling I get here with DR & the future of all PC gaming.

Don't get me wrong arma2 is an excellent title but it's not without many flaws (similar to it's predecessor) and that is why I might for the first time look at a title I don't even like, Battlefield, dam the future of gaming PC.

I too own both titles but while one is in the box, I don't see the point in posting on it's forums, that's for the members still playing..... I played Arma2 5 times that was enough for me too.
you never played that game enough then. cause ive finished it, and played with over 300-500+ units on the editor, with hours upon hours of gameplay on it

and not a single one bug has made the game unplayable. you can continue to blow smoke out of your rear

Ah right, off into the insults again. Fire away old lad, whilst you're wasting your time trying to upset me it means that you're leaving everybody else alone. Way to go keyboard warrior.

I change my name, see if you can guess who....

Ok, I bore too easily.

For the record, I think Atlas was most likely banned for all the other verbally abusive posts he put around the forums. Remember, conflict is good, and insults work, just keep them civil and devious.

OK. Its because we were at first angry at CM use of the "Operation Flashpoint" moniker in a game that has nothing to do with OFP:CWC, then after many of us tried the game, that it was a very poor console port that is really more suited to exclusive release on consoles and not even worth putting out on the PC, now of course, some of us are here - yes I'll admit, with a little bit of "told you so", others to bring players looking for a mil-sim into the fold of ArmA 2. Some, just to look in awe at the dust bowl that Dragon Rising has become. To look at the dedicated DR players throwing in the towel. I haven't posted on the DR forums before now, and I can tell you from my point of view, yes there is some satisfaction to watch this game crumble.

If the game hadn't been called Operation Flashpoint, there would have been almost none of this with myself and other ArmA players. As it was, we were angry.

As for A2 being too buggy to play. Bah..humbug, (it is almost chrimbo). It plays fine on my medium spec machine. As for the 500+ issues listed on dev heaven. Do you know why they are listed? Because it was created by players and fans, some are little niggly things that dont really matter, some are larger issues, there's no game breakers though, but the reason that fan/players have made that list: It's because the devs at BI give damn about their product and the players view of that product and its worth making that list because BI devs read it and act upon the issues with the most votes.

Now viiiper, I have a question for you. There is a thread over on the BI forums, quite abig thread in Off Topic about dragon rising. Why do you think that thread has lasted longer that the game it is talking about?

EDIT. My apologies...I did post in another thread re DR. Forgot...

Oddly enough, I am part of a gamer demographic with more in my life than just sitting at home or in front of a gaming pc all day only playing games.

I am also smart enough that I know that the only way to get a change made is to let someone who can make a difference know. Communication is the key here, and it is just disappointing to have a moderator, someone allegedly of 'high standing' within the community only post with the intention of trollbaiting.

My comments were naturally inflammatory as I feel cheated and disappointed, especially since now when I start up DR I am seldom, if ever able to find an Australian host at all.
The people at risk of being let down, and those responsible are far more likely to read this forum, so what logic would there be in informing non-users and those using a comparable substitute unlikely to switch of the defects in a game they neither created or used.

Please, before flaming me, attempt to use basic reasoning and logic skills.
