Sorry, but I am not getting this stat that you got your hands on.

GRAW2 is the closest thing to realism aswell as Battlestations Midway.

All the rest of your games have zero, if any ties to the brand of 'realism'.

OPF-E is still active on the regular xbox. Theres a large group that gets together every week.

ADW1983, please explain what you're saying and how it fits in with 'Ideas/Suggestions'.

I'm just pointing out that if OFP2 isn't the first somewhat realistic game for the 360, I'll throw my 360 out of the window and use the rest of my games left as frisbees...

There is no game on the warsimulator side of the marked in the 360 "mainstream".

I was just suddenly very afraid that PC users get Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising, while they port a PS2 version to the 360 called "Operation Flashpoint: Teenage Soliders Rebel Against their Officers and Discover that the Govornment is Hiding Big-Headed Aliens in Asia and One of them Calls Himself Elvis".

(Yea. The working title for the original perfect Dark -- I know)

Simply put:
I want the game to be a warsimulation -- even on the 360 -- as every half-decent realistic game series has been turned into arcade for the 360.

Battlefield?
Battlefield --> 360 == Battlefield: Armored Clone Company
Rainbow Six?
Rainbow Six --> 360 == Rainbow Six: Harry Potter Recon, and Rainbow Six: Psychics in Vegas, and Rainbow Six: Psychics on Steroids are in Vegas Too
Call of Duty?
Call of Duty --> 360 == Call of Duty: Bomb in Car Warfare, Call of Duty: Honey, We Shrunk the World?

Is it some curse on the 360, that changes all parameters in memory called Health, Life, Hitpoints, HP and/or Condition to twice the normal value and use half value for every parameter called damage and effective_range?
Doesn't Microsoft allow warsimulation on their consoles?
Have they said "NOONE is allowed to make a game where one headshot kills somebody -- unless half of all headshots register as hits to the knee and another twentyfive percent outright miss despite the tracer going through their head"?

If not... I really hope I get to play a warsim before my 360 dies...

Well, as stated by Clive, the PC and console versions will remain the same in parameters. However, you will always get more out of the PC game, as you get an expanded editor and custimizable waypoints/triggers.

If they stick true to OPF. We will be seeing another OPF-Elite for our consoles.

Hope that helped.

I would say America's Army: True Soldiers is closest thing to realistic infantry combat on the 360, to bad it did not include armor & helicopters. This game is only sold in the U.S. so there's alot of people missing out on a great sim. Just my 2 cents.

Well, we have nothing as a Sim on the xbox. Although we can keep throwing out games that potray to us as Real/Sim, they still do not make the cut. Unless we have VBS1 or Falcon 4 over on the 360, we have nothing.

I have not gotten my hands on AA, hopefully they can make Canada's Army. (=

Was just reading on the xbox's forum in the americas army section and from what I read over there a few canadians have found a way to do so, I suggest searching other forums and that star.

Well, I would be able to purchase online and have it shipped to Canada. But I am not going through all that for a game. Especially when we are so close to Arma2 and OPF.
Thanks anyway Tyro.

I really hope you don't think in reality that it takes 2-3 seconds to crouch from a standing position, regardless of how much gear you're carrying. I've read up on US soldiers's training where they can 1. Sprint for miles without stopping, 2. Carry 70lbs of gear and hit the deck and get right back up to a standing stance and start sprinting within seconds, 3. Change weapons very fast.

GRAW, or the entire Ghost Recon series from Clancy's point of view, or more like Ubisoft's pov, is nothing more than a fabricated realism. In their eyes, stealth/snail speed means tactical combat...which in reality is not the case whatsoever.

Anyone ever watch the Discovery channel show on the SEALs? That's real...and that's certainly not what GR or GRAW is at all. Rainbow is the same dumb crap...snail speed gameplay with zero attempt at a real realism.
