IF YOU HAVE VERSION 2.0c PLEASE REDOWNLOAD, THERE IS A BUG IN THE CODING OF SUPPRESS THAT RUINED THE MISSION, UPDATE TO 2.1c
Mission : Urban War : Intel Grab-And-Dash Briefing : Our inside operative has managed to smuggle out an Intel I7 CPU from enemy hands, and has hidden it inside Mologa. The battle for control of Mologa is already underway, get in there, grab that CPU and get out! Hints/Tips : Hints/Tips : -Flashlights are great! -Your grenades aren't just to make you look like rambo! use 'em! -The soldier that leads the charge, rarely comes back! -In a spot of trouble? fall back to the friendly front line -You have ALOT of smoke grenades. hint hint -Player1/HOST can walk up to the flagpole by first tent to turn on/off Scorecard display -When the helicopter lands a checkpoint will save your progress in Normal, Experienced AND Hardcore modes -Cut-Scene finishes off the mission -Popups will show your score when you die or complete the mission (ensure you have "Show Tutorial Text" turned on in Game Options for this to work) There are two strategies to this mission : Grab-And-Dash : Just as the name suggests, move in as quickly as you can, clear a path to the drop point, pick up the CPU and get out of there quick! All-Out-Assault : Most Intense play. Move up and support the US forces as they fight and push the PLA out of the town. Once the town is secure, grab the CPU All-Out-Assault is recommended for COOP play! Urban War : Intel Grab-And-Dash *COMPETITION VERSION 2.1c* Unzip into your DATA_WIN\MISSIONS folder. this mission is under "intel" in game Grab-And-Dash playthrough! (turn your sound UP for this one!) I have updated the download to a newer version that has 4 player coop in it! only players are spawned, if you play with 1,2 or 3 players, the AI units taking up the rest of the team will be despawned. each additional player reduces the maximum AI count for US side by 2 also, I modified the behaviour of the AI teams, the PLA defend a little further back, and the US concentrate on securing the building with the objective alot more.

OK, that map just sucks... I had to stop after 5 times through. I once got within one building of the key location but just like the others attempts there were so many PLA I didn't see them flanking me. The noise was ridiculous with close automatic fire in all directions and grenades going off all around me. My heart is beating hard and my sweaty hands are shaking like a cold chihuahua. Breath... breath... OK Marine get back in there and let's try this again. Thanks for all you do on this site. You get my Good Guy of the Game Award. |

Get to a position to kill/pin the PLA reinforcements before they make it into the village, cutting off those already in the village and allowing your guys to move up to the objective. this will then make it easier to get there! I updated the file again to fix a small issue where the helicopter would not take off once you got back with the CPU. it works now!

i honestly liked it ( havnt finished it i keep dieing ), ive died several time by dudes popin outta doors blowin my brains off, but yes i like it
i reckon you should make a mission where you enter and extract by a boat ![]() very nice work templar, much appreciated. |

Definitely helps having another live player to help reach the "intel". I got to play this with Templar and if he hadn't keep the Bad Guys off me for the last reload I wouldn't have come out alive. He got to spectate the ending but I manged to finish the mission (less the heli ride). First time I've seen AI really work with this level of complexity. I engaged them a couple of times when I was playing the mission single player and when I attempted to disengage and retreat they hunted me down and terminated me with prejudice.

ok, another (and hopefully final) update:
more tweaks to AI behavior For each player missing, PLA side is reduced by 2 units For each additional player in the game, US side is reduced by 2 added much more cover around objective and blocked up window added more static objects to the map to make it feel less empty added smoke fx changed weather slightly

Tried playing this one single player, was fun but i didnt have anyone else on my team? shows it in the mission briefing aka: showed 4 other riflemen, but when i exited the chopper there wasnt anyone else in my command tab???
