Open Island- West island alpha testing

Ok guys, I am using templarGFX code as a basis, so alot of credit goes to him. I have populated the east half of the island with units, so have fun. I haven't tested much but mainly I need your input on the beginning atm. You cannot be killed for testing purposes, and there are tanks and humvees at the starting point, look around.

Have fun guys and any suggestion are much aprrecated. I am going for the OH-SHH! factor at the beginning and end. Also the other zones may not spawn atm, not sure haven't tested it. I am going to add units to them once I get the beginning down.

Can I get a title change? or will I have to make a new post with the correct title?

I know this sounds pretty noobish... but how do you open the .mssn file? I open it with the editor and its just blank.

...I open the editor and then use the open command to open the .mssn but its still blank.

can someone point me in the right directions please?

EDIT: This might help: I have the game installed on the D partition of my hard drive... idk but that might be it...

and btw, nice looking map Power2ouse!

I don't know, I just opened it through the editor and it loads. I hope someone can help you, my next upload will be an export, maybe that will run.

Do you have the latest editor as that could be the problem.

... or it's quite a bit simplier than it looks.
The downloaded file [from MediaFire] has just "*.mssn.txt" as extension - instead of "*.mssn".
I'm pretty sure that nobody has fallin' into that crap.

By the way, i stripped just off ".txt" loaded it into the editor, exported and played it the last 10 minutes.
Impressive to catch a tank, climb up the hill - switch to night-vision of course - and drop out these tiny little running flares ...

odd I downloaded it and there was no .text extension, I am using chrome, so maybe an IE reads it as an .txt file, its done that to me before. I will be adding all the vechs at the begining for you guys to mess with, choppers included. The choppers might mess up the mission though because of the way the zones are structured. I will try to find workarounds to this, as I script the rest of the zones.

wow, the start of your mission is awesome. really atmospheric. I was like "wtf is going on!, wholly crap Im under fire, jesus theres artillery, my lord theres guys EVERYWHERE!"

awesome stuff. cant wait to see what you put in after that first defence battle
