Default Heli transport/evac

I'm one of those guys who, back in the days, spend a lot of time editing mission in the old OFP game. WHen I saw that a new OFP game had been released, I was thrilled to find that the mission editor was still a part of the game! But hey!! If I thought that the mission editing would be the same, I was forced to think again! LUA scripting?? Jesus - In the 1985 game you could achieve the same things via point and click! But being serious on the nerd front I guess that I will get the hang of it! Now for my question (bear in mind that I have only used the mission editor for a couple of days!):

I have created a test mission where I, on entering a triggerzone, call a Helicopter to a specific waypoint using LUA scrpiting. When I enter/mount the helicopter I have scipted the Helicopter to move to yet another waypoint and when, on arrival, I exit the helicopter it takes off and move to yet a third waypoint - this is all fine and of my willing, BUT! When I then try the same with a fireteam with me a commander the helicopter stays on the ground, and when I exit, the helicopter takes of - WHY??? WHYYYY??????

(please help!)

PS. I have added the fireteam (Echelon) to all the "onEnter" and "onMount" scripting!

Damn! Sorry mate, can't help! I switched my crystal ball on but the batteries are flat!

Looks like you'll have to do it the old fashioned way and post some code for us to look at.

I had the same problem. I tried so many things to get it working that I'm not 100% sure what solved it. I seem to remember that setting mountable status to troop only solved it. sometimes a FT member jumped into crew positions and that screwed it up
