![]() After the initial release of my weapon rebalance modification I have now created a new version, this time entitled "Damage Rebalance Mod". The method is the same, however to avoid confusion the mod will only be referred to in terms of damage caused and not ammo fired. There are now six separate versions which should cover everybody's various requirements in making the game harder or more enjoyable. OFPDR DAMAGE REBALANCE MOD: SINGLEPLAYER ONLY OR PRIVATE MP CO-OP BY ACOG 2009 This small modification allows for six different tweaks which provide different damage templates for the rifles and sidearms in Operation Flashpoint 2. All sidearms in each template provide the same damage but the rifle damage is altered in each for both the USMC and PLA. For extra details on the differenced between templates please refer to the readme.txt that accompanies this installation file. INSTALLATION: Simply run the installer included with this file, ensuring that the "\data_win\media" path is appended to your installation path should it differ from the normal: C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OF Dragon Rising\data_win\media Running the installer again and choosing a different version of the mod will simply overwrite your original choice. ![]() UNINSTALL: Simply run the uninstaller.exe in the media folder or from the start menu programs list. INFORMATION: There are currently 6 different version of this mod. Each version alters the difficulty of the game in a seperate way. Although some versions offer more power for the USMC, it does not neccesarily make it easier as you can survive less shots. The original vanilla version of the game is structured as follows, so judge your required difficulty level against this: ORIGINAL GAME: USMC incapcitated in 3 shots, PLA AI incpacitated in 2 shots. Headshots are un-effected by any version. A headshot using any of the 6 versions will always be an instant 1 shot kill. 1: HC BALANCED: USMC and PLA incapacitated in 2 shots. 2: HC REVERSED: This is the reverse of the vanilla game. USMC incapacitated in 2 shots, PLA incapacitated in 3 shots. 3: HC USMC ADVANTAGE: USMC incapacitated in 2 shots, PLA incapacitated in 1 shot. 4: HC PLA ADVANTAGE: USMC incapacitated in 1 shot, PLA incapacitated in 2 shots. 5: HC ADVANCED: USMC and PLA incapacitated in 1 shot. 6: HC ULTRA: USMC incapacitated in 1 shot, PLA incapacitated in 3 shots. For all 6 versions sidearms for USMC and PLA are identical, however they cause more damage than the original game.
